How much does it cost to build a swimming pool?
If you're thinking about building an in-ground pool, the first question that will surely come to mind is: how much does it cost to build a pool?
To determine a price, it's important to first understand the costs involved. To ensure a good job, one that lasts over time and guarantees optimal performance, without any nasty surprises, you need to choose quality materials and rely on industry experts.
For over 30 years, we have been building swimming pools using our own EPS formwork, which adapts to any type of terrain. This system allows for quick and easy construction of concrete pools, taking advantage of the formwork's many properties: waterproofness, strength, adaptability to the terrain, ease of transport, non-toxicity, and non-deformability.
Of course, the cost of building a pool can vary based on several factors, such as the size of the pool, the geographic area, the specific project choices... but let's try to define some rough costs.
What are the costs of building a swimming pool?
- Materials: it is essential to choose products that guarantee both ease of installation and management;
- Labor: rely on reputable companies with experience in the sector;
- Excavation: usually carried out by an external specialized company;
- Iron: for the reinforcement of the slab and the structure;
- Cement: for the slab and pouring of the structure;
- Bureaucratic procedures: in most cases, a simple SCIA (Certified Building Inspection) is sufficient (we recommend always requesting information from the municipality before starting the project, as restrictions may vary depending on the development plan);
- Paving and landscaping: extras to consider when completing the pool area.
