Recommended products for Gre above-ground pool, 240 cm diameter
If you have purchased a Gre above-ground pool with a 240 cm diameter, or plan to do so, it's good to know which products are necessary for its installation and which are recommended to make the most of it.
This page is created for exactly that purpose: to give you advice on installation and products to combine with your pool.
Delivery
If you are about to make a purchase, you need to know that with Zavattishop, shipping is free, but you must have a forklift for unloading at delivery.
If you do not have a forklift, you must also add the hydraulic liftgate to your shopping cart, which costs €99.
In this way, we will send your pool with a truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate that will allow the heavy and large pallet containing the material to be unloaded on the ground:

Products necessary for correct and durable installation
For the pool base, it is recommended to create a 15 cm quartz-smoothed concrete slab or, alternatively, 3-4 cm of well-compacted sand on a flat surface protected by a polyurethane mat.
Below is a list of accessories we recommend purchasing with the Gre 240 cm diameter pool.
If the pool is to be buried, we recommend the polyurethane mat to be placed around the pool walls to protect them from soil moisture.

Lighting
To illuminate your above-ground pool, there is a specific type of lamp that does not require drilling or special preparations. Seamaid above-ground pool lamps are simply installed on the pool's outlet. You can choose between a white LED lamp or a colored RGB one:

Cleaning
Pool cleaning is essential. Water is not only purified by water recirculation and chemicals.
Thorough cleaning of the bottom and walls is necessary, which can be done either manually (thanks to hydraulic cleaning systems) or automatically (thanks to electric robotic cleaners).

Pool Safety
Even with above-ground pools, safety should not be overlooked.
For easy access for children or the elderly, we strongly recommend the resin safety ladder shown below.

Heating and Covering
Above-ground pools do not hold a large amount of water. To prevent heat loss and retain the heat accumulated during the day, an isothermal cover is sufficient, which should be spread out in the evening and rolled up in the morning.
For the winter period, or when going on vacation and "abandoning" the pool for a few days, it is advisable to cover the pool with the appropriate 4-season cover, which will prevent dirt from getting into the water, allowing the water to be preserved from one season to the next.
Start-up and Maintenance
After filling the pool, you will need to start the filtration system for up to 12 hours a day and chemically treat the water.
The main chemicals to always have available are: DIKLOR SUPER, ALGASTOP, TABLOK SUPER, and PH, which you can purchase in our Summer Kit.
The filtration system also requires constant maintenance: it is advisable to backwash frequently and, from time to time, replace the glass sand.
