Pulizia Linea di Galleggiamento sporca

Waterline always dirty

How to clean the waterline

Often along the waterline we see a halo forming, tending to gray, yellow or black. This halo forms quickly and is difficult to remove.

Why does the black stain form on the water’s waterline? How to prevent this unsightly inconvenience? How to clean the pool liner?
Danny, your pool expert, answers.

The yellow/gray/black stain that forms on the pool liner, at the height of the water's waterline, is mainly caused by skin oils and residues of tanning oils and creams used by swimmers.

To prevent the formation of these stains on the liner, it is certainly advisable to have all swimmers shower before entering the pool.
Another useful prevention tool is the constant use of a pool cleaning robot that, by brushing the pool surface, keeps it always clean, or the use of a manual brush.

But preventing its formation over time is practically impossible, which is why there are specific products to keep it always clean. The specific product is the degreaser Liner Cleaner.

To carry out the cleaning treatment, it is advisable to slightly lower the water level to prevent too much product from entering the pool. It will be necessary to spray the product on the affected area, let it act for a few seconds and wash it off with the help of a cloth. This operation should be performed at least once a year, to prevent the stain from becoming too difficult to remove.

It is advisable to perform the cleaning treatment of the black line with the Liner Cleaner product regularly at the opening and closing of the pool.
