How to remove red sand from your pool

Just these past few hours, Italy experienced the phenomenon of red rain, rich in desert sand.
Perhaps I shouldn't even call it sand, but dust, because it's so fine that it risks remaining suspended for days.
Because of this, the water will no longer be crystal clear but very cloudy because a kind of very fine dust is created that struggles to be retained by both the filtration system and the pool robot.

How to solve the problem?
Danny, your pool expert, answers.

I recommend that you immediately check the chlorine and pH levels with a test kit and adjust them if necessary.
You might want to keep the chlorine level a bit high by adding Diklor Shock Super (granular shock chlorine) or Liquid Klor (liquid chlorine) and keep the filtration system running for 24 hours.
The robotic cleaner will also have its work cut out for it; let it run for several cycles a day and clean it often.
The cleaner, as it moves around the pool, will stir up the dust even more, and this is normal; the combination of the robot's work and the filtration system will solve the problem.
Don't forget to backwash the sand filter every day.
