The pool floor mat is an essential accessory for those who wish to preserve the quality of their above-ground pool, while also ensuring greater comfort and safety. Often underestimated, this protective layer plays a crucial role in preventing damage to the pool lining and improving the overall swimming experience.

The pool floor mat, also known as a protective mat or pool base, is placed between the ground and the bottom of the pool. Its main functions are:

• Liner protection: it prevents stones, roots or uneven surfaces from puncturing or wearing out the bottom of the pool.
• Thermal insulation: reduces heat dispersion towards the ground, helping to keep the water warmer.
• Greater comfort: makes the surface softer to the touch, especially in children's pools.
• Stability and safety: limits accidental movements and slips, making the pool safer to use.
