50-meter lane line

Continuous anti-injury lane with longitudinal wave-breaking ribs and high windability.
Model COMP/S (diameter 90 mm) in special polypropylene treated anti-light and anti-corrosion.
AISI 316 stainless steel rope (diam. 4 mm) included. Turnbuckles and accessories to be purchased separately.

MATERIAL USED
Polypropylene, additive for light resistance.

COLOR
Standard color: red/white.
The lanes are supplied with alternating red and white floats, or according to the FINA sequence: the first 5 meters of each of the two ends are red with white interlayers at each meter end; the remainder is white, with a red interlayer in the middle of the lane.

WAVE-BREAKING EFFECT
Consists of the total absorption of the wave inside the floating lane and is obtained through appropriate longitudinal ribs. The wave-breaking effect is required for competitions as it prevents wave disturbances between adjacent swimmers.

INSTALLATION
The use of:

• pair of stainless steel eye-hook turnbuckles
  
• stainless steel turnbuckle and cable saver spring
  
• stainless steel lever turnbuckle and cable saver spring
  
• ratchet turnbuckle and cable saver spring

SAFETY REGULATIONS
The outer surface of the wave-breaking lanes is continuous along its entire length without gaps or spaces between floats to prevent harmful abrasions and sprains to hands and fingers should the swimmer collide with the lane.

FINA REGULATIONS
Number of floating lanes: must be equal to the number of swimming lanes plus one.
Distance of the two outer lanes from the side edges of the pool: 50 cm.
Dimensions: diameter 5÷10 cm.

BUOYANCY
For model COMP/S, buoyancy is achieved by small sealed doughnut floats arranged at regular intervals between the wave-breaking elements; the buoyancy level is one-third of the diameter.
