Winter cover produced at our factory in Poggio Rusco (Mn) by specialized technicians, masters in the use of the most modern heat-sealing technologies, adapting the process to the external temperature to avoid imperfections. The tarpaulin is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, hand-finishing any imperfections.

Useful tips for installing the winter pool cover

To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from ground level.
Use the Clean Cover pump for tarpaulins with a water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit accumulation on the cover during persistent rain and keep the cover dry.
For optimal installation, place the cover near the edge of the pool, lift the two corners, and proceed towards the opposite edge. Our covers are folded accordion-style to ensure quick pool closing.
Perform proper winterization with granular chlorine Diklor Super (30gr/m3) and winterizing agent Winter Algastop (1L per 10m3) to be added one after the other.

Instructions for professional winter cover installation:

Around the pool, at least 50 cm of space is needed for the tubular weights and to ensure the stability of the cover.
If the pool has skimmers, it is important to note that 20 cm of cover is lost on each side to compensate for the difference in level between the edge and the water.
To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from ground level.
Use the Clean Cover pump for tarpaulins with a water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit accumulation on the cover during persistent rain and keep the cover dry. It is also very important to prevent water from escaping from under the cover due to the principle of communicating vessels.

N.B. If you have a salt-treated pool, please remember that electrolysis significantly reduces the lifespan and resistance of the cover.

How to close the pool?

Clean the bottom of the pool with a robot
Perform backwashing and check that the pump's pre-filter is clean
Check pH values (7.2 / 7.6)
Perform super chlorination with Diklor Super
Add Winter Algastop to prevent algae formation
Leave the system on for at least 24 hours
Cover the pool with the winter cover
Use the cover pump to keep the cover dry and clean
If temperatures are high, leave the system on during the warmest hours
Leave the valves open and DO NOT lower the water level
