This pool light combines ease of installation and use with the high quality of Seamaid products.
This is made possible thanks to careful analysis and the constant evolution of production systems, which aim to increasingly satisfy consumer needs.
- Robust : Made of injected polycarbonate for high resistance to impact, heat, and the chemicals used in water treatments. The two screw terminals integrated into the plastic ensure a solid connection to the 12V power cable.
- Reliable and safe : This pool light is specifically designed for underwater lighting; it offers uniform, harmonious light distribution that is glare-free for swimmers. It poses no risk to the eyes, in fact, it is classified as "0" according to the EN 62471 standard (photobiological safety).
- Economical : Thanks to the LED light source, significant savings are achieved for both the user (energy savings) and the professional during pool construction. A 2x1.5 mm² cable connected to a 20V AC toroidal transformer is sufficient to install a SeaMAID PAR56 lamp, saving on materials and labor.
Important precautions
- Always make sure the headlight's power cable connection is completely waterproof. When replacing a PAR56 lamp, it's essential to also replace the headlight's seal, which may have overheated and become warped.
- Always use connectors that ensure optimal contact between the electrical wires. Make sure the connection is completely waterproof, preferably using IP68 connectors or adding insulating gel to the junction box.
- Always connect the pool light to a double-winding, isolating safety transformer; the output voltage must be 12 volts. If the secondary voltage is unstable or exceeds regulatory tolerances, it is essential to install a stabilizing and/or limiting device before the electrical panel.
Please note: When using pool lights, it is essential to connect them to a double-winding, isolating safety transformer with a power rating that exceeds the total absorbed power by at least 20%. During installation, it is advisable to lubricate the back of the light (using the lubricant provided) to facilitate the sealing bell and, if necessary, replace the sleeve. The lights, with an IP68 protection rating, must be installed in a PAR56 fitting, at a maximum immersion depth of 1 meter.
