Winter cover produced at our plant in Poggio Rusco (Mn) by specialized technicians, masters in the use of the most modern heat-sealing technologies, adapting the process to the external temperature to avoid imperfections. The sheet is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, hand-finishing any imperfections.

Winter cover equipped with standard reinforced PVC tubes 600gr/m3 and anti-lift straps. The anti-lift straps, installed approximately every 90cm and fixed with studs, are ideal for keeping the tubes in place and preventing the cover from moving when subjected to strong stresses.

Advantages of the cover with perimeter tubes and studded straps

• protects the water from debris and dirt, prevents leaves and organisms from altering the pH conditions of the pool.

• screens the water from sunlight, which is the main cause of chlorine evaporation and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms such as algae. Can be used as a summer isothermal cover.

• eliminates the use of chemical substances thanks to protection from UV rays and organic substances. Only a shock treatment combined with winterizing agent is needed to face the cold.

• allows significant savings; the system is no longer used, reducing electricity consumption, and the purchase of chemicals is stopped.

Useful tips for laying the winter pool cover

1. To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from the ground level.

2. Use the Clean Cover pump with water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit accumulation on the cover during heavy rains and keep the cover dry.

3. For optimal laying, place the cover near the edge of the pool, lift the two corners and proceed towards the opposite edge. Our covers are folded accordion-style to ensure quick pool closing.

4. Perform proper winterization with granular chlorine Diklor Super (30gr/m3) and winterizing agent Winter Algastop (1L per 10m3) to be applied one after the other.
