Introducing the brand new winter pool cover with anti-tip, anti-wind tubulars that rest on the ground, a Zavattishop exclusive patent. These latest generation sausages are the definitive solution for your pool. Thanks to the stabilizing heat seals and ultrasonic fixing, very high standards of ground adherence are achieved.

Winter cover produced at the Poggio Rusco (Mn) factory by specialized technicians. The cover is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, with any imperfections finished by hand.

 

Advantages of the cover with anti-wind tubulars:

  • protects the water from debris and dirt, prevents leaves and organisms from altering the pH conditions of the pool.
  • shields the water from solar rays which are the main cause of chlorine evaporation and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms such as algae. Can be used as a summer isothermal cover.
  • eliminates the need for chemicals thanks to protection from UV rays and organic substances. A shock treatment combined with winterizing agent is sufficient to face the cold.
  • allows for significant savings, as the system is no longer used, reducing electricity consumption and eliminating the purchase of chemicals.


Technical characteristics of the winter pool cover with anti-tip tubulars:

  • equipped with reinforced PVC tubulars of 600gr/m2 with stabilizing heat seals
  • fine-mesh carbon reinforcement, essential for resistance to tearing and wear over time
  • 220gr/m2 PVC coated polyethylene, best weight/strength ratio to increase mobility without sacrificing strength
  • self-stabilizing, highly resistant to degradation from temperature changes due to thermal excursion
  • very high capacity to maintain stable temperature to block the proliferation of bacteria
  • waterproofing necessary for protection from rainwater that alters the pH value
  • no seams for excellent tensile strength, a necessary feature to withstand bad weather

COMPLETE YOUR WINTER COVER BY PURCHASING THE POOL COVER DRAIN PUMP (you can find it in related items).

The drain pump should be placed in the center of the winter cover and kept constantly powered. Upon detecting a few centimeters of water, the pump automatically activates and expels it through a drain hose. This way, the cover will always remain dry and clean.


 
   
 
Instructions for proper winter cover installation:

  • A space of at least 50 cm around the pool is required for the tubulars to rest on and to ensure cover stability.
  • If the pool has skimmers, it is important to consider that 20 cm of cover is lost on each side to compensate for the difference in level between the edge and the water.
  • To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from ground level.
  • Use the Clean Cover drain pump with water drainage kit (found in related products) to limit water accumulation on the cover during heavy rains and keep the cover dry. It is also very important to prevent water from escaping from under the cover due to the communicating vessels principle.
  • THE TUBULARS MUST BE FILLED TO 50%

    N.B. If you have a saltwater pool, please remember that electrolysis significantly reduces the lifespan and resistance of the cover.

How to close the pool?

  1. Clean the bottom of the pool with a robot
  2. Backwash and check that the pump pre-filter is clean
  3. Check pH values (7.2 / 7.6)
  4. Perform a super chlorination with Diklor Super
  5. Add Winter Algastop to prevent algae formation
  6. Leave the system on for at least 24 hours
  7. Cover the pool with the winter cover
  8. Use the drain pump to keep the cover dry and clean
  9. If temperatures are high, leave the system on during the hottest hours
  10. Leave the valves open and DO NOT lower the water level
