Exclusive worldwide: the brand new winter cover with anti-roll, windproof tubes that rest on the ground, a Zavattishop patent. These latest generation tubes are the definitive solution for your pool. Thanks to stabilizing heat seals and ultrasonic fastening, extremely high standards of ground adherence are achieved.

Winter cover produced at the Poggio Rusco (Mn) factory by specialized technicians. The cover is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, with any imperfections finished by hand.

 

Advantages of the cover with windproof tubes:

  • protects the water from debris and dirt, preventing leaves and organisms from altering the pool's pH conditions.
  • shields the water from solar rays, which are the main cause of chlorine evaporation and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms like algae. Can be used as a summer isothermal cover.
  • eliminates the need for chemical substances thanks to protection from UV rays and organic substances. A shock treatment combined with winterizer is enough to face the cold.
  • allows for significant savings, as the system is turned off, reducing electricity consumption and eliminating the need to buy chemicals.


Technical characteristics of the winter cover with anti-roll tubes:

  • equipped with 600gr/m2 reinforced PVC tubes with stabilizing heat seals
  • fine-mesh carbon reinforcement, essential for tear resistance and wear over time
  • 220gr/m2 PVC coated polyethylene, best weight/resistance ratio to increase mobility without sacrificing strength
  • self-stabilizing, high resistance to degradation from temperature changes due to thermal excursion
  • very high capacity to maintain stable temperature to block the proliferation of bacteria
  • waterproofing necessary for protection from rainwater that alters the pH value
  • no seams for excellent tensile strength, a necessary feature to combat bad weather

COMPLETE YOUR WINTER COVER BY PURCHASING THE COVER PUMP (you can find it in related items).

The cover pump should be placed in the center of the winter cover and kept continuously powered. Upon detection of a few centimeters of water, the pump activates autonomously and expels it through a drain hose. This way, the cover will always remain dry and clean.


 
   
 
Instructions for professional winter cover installation:

  • A space of at least 50 cm around the pool is necessary for the tubes to rest on and to ensure cover stability.
  • If the pool has skimmers, it is important to note that 20 cm of cover is lost on each side to compensate for the difference in height between the edge and the water.
  • To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from the ground level.
  • Use the Clean Cover pump with a water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit water accumulation on the cover during heavy rains and keep the cover dry. It is also very important to prevent water from escaping from under the cover due to the principle of communicating vessels.
  •  THE TUBES MUST BE FILLED TO 50%

    N.B. If you have a salt-treated pool, please remember that electrolysis significantly reduces the lifespan and resistance of the cover.

How to close the pool?

  1. Clean the bottom of the pool with the robot
  2. Backwash and check that the pump's pre-filter is clean
  3. Check pH values (7.2 / 7.6)
  4. Perform a super chlorination with Diklor Super
  5. Add Winter Algastop to prevent algae formation
  6. Leave the system on for at least 24 hours
  7. Cover the pool with the winter cover
  8. Use the cover pump to keep the cover dry and clean
  9. If temperatures are high, leave the system on during the warmest hours
  10. Leave the valves open and DO NOT lower the water level
