World exclusive: the brand new winter pool cover with patented anti-overturn, resting windproof tubes from Zavattishop. These latest-generation sausages are the definitive solution for your pool. Thanks to stabilizing heat seals and ultrasonic fastening, very high standards of ground adhesion are achieved.

Winter cover produced at the Poggio Rusco (Mn) plant by specialized technicians. The tarpaulin is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, hand-finishing any imperfections.

 

Advantages of the cover with windproof tubes:

  • protects the water from debris and dirt, preventing leaves and organisms from altering the pool's pH conditions.
  • shields the water from solar rays, which are the main cause of chlorine evaporation and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms like algae. Can be used as a summer isothermal cover.
  • eliminates the use of chemical substances thanks to protection from UV rays and organic substances. A shock treatment combined with winterizer is enough to face the cold.
  • allows significant savings, as the system is no longer used, reducing electricity consumption and eliminating the need to purchase chemicals.


Technical characteristics of the winter cover with anti-overturn tubes:

  • equipped with 600gr/m2 reinforced PVC tubes with stabilizing heat seals
  • fine-mesh carbon reinforcement, essential for resistance to tearing and wear over time
  • 220gr/m2 PVC-coated polyethylene, the best weight/strength ratio to increase mobility without sacrificing strength
  • self-stabilizing, high resistance to degradation from temperature changes due to thermal excursion
  • very high capacity to maintain stable temperatures to block bacterial proliferation
  • waterproofing necessary for protection from rainwater that alters the pH value

COMPLETE YOUR WINTER COVER BY PURCHASING THE TARP DRAIN PUMP (you can find it in related items).

The tarp drain pump should be placed in the center of the winter cover and kept continuously powered. Upon detection of a few centimeters of water, the pump activates autonomously and expels it through a drain hose. This way, the cover will always remain dry and clean.


 
   
 
Instructions for professional installation of the winter cover:

  • Around the pool, at least 50 cm of space is needed for the tubes to rest on and to ensure the stability of the cover.
  • If the pool has a skimmer, it is important to consider that 20 cm of the cover is lost on each side to compensate for the difference in level between the edge and the water.
  • To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from the ground level.
  • Use the Clean Cover tarp drain pump with a water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit water accumulation on the cover during heavy rains and keep the cover dry. It is also very important to prevent water from escaping from under the cover due to the principle of communicating vessels.
  •  THE TUBES MUST BE FILLED TO 50%

    N.B. If you have a salt-treated pool, please remember that electrolysis significantly reduces the life and resistance of the cover.

How to close the pool?

  1. Clean the bottom of the pool with a robot
  2. Perform backwashing and check that the pump pre-filter is clean
  3. Check pH values (7.2 / 7.6)
  4. Perform super chlorination with Diklor Super
  5. Add Winter Algastop to prevent algae formation
  6. Leave the system on for at least 24 hours
  7. Cover the pool with the winter cover
  8. Use the tarp drain pump to keep the cover dry and clean
  9. If temperatures are high, leave the system on during the hottest hours
  10. Leave the valves open and DO NOT lower the water level
