World exclusive: the brand new winter pool cover with anti-roll windproof tubes for support, Zavattishop patent. These latest generation sausage tubes are the definitive solution for your swimming pool. Thanks to stabilizing heat seals and ultrasonic fastening, very high standards of ground adhesion are achieved.

Winter cover manufactured at the Poggio Rusco (Mn) plant by specialized technicians. The cover is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, hand-finishing any imperfections.

 

Advantages of the cover with windproof tubes:

  • protects water from debris and dirt, prevents leaves and organisms from altering the pH conditions of the pool.
  • shields the water from solar rays, which are the main cause of chlorine evaporation and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms such as algae. Can be used as a summer isothermal cover.
  • eliminates the need for chemical substances thanks to protection from UV rays and organic substances. Only a shock treatment combined with winterizing agent is needed to cope with the cold.
  • allows for significant savings, as the system is no longer used, reducing electricity consumption and eliminating the purchase of chemicals.


Technical characteristics of the winter cover with anti-roll tubes:

  • equipped with 600gr/m2 reinforced PVC tubes with stabilizing heat seals
  • fine-mesh carbon reinforcement, essential for tear resistance and wear over time
  • 220gr/m2 PVC coated polyethylene, best weight/strength ratio to increase mobility without sacrificing strength
  • self-stabilizing, high resistance to degradation from temperature fluctuations due to thermal excursion
  • very high capacity to maintain stable temperature to block bacterial proliferation
  • waterproofing necessary for protection from rainwater that alters the pH value

The cover drain pump should be placed in the center of the winter cover and kept constantly powered. Upon detection of a few centimeters of water, the pump activates autonomously and expels it through a drain hose. This way, the cover will always remain dry and clean.


 
   
 
Instructions for proper installation of the winter cover:

  • A space of at least 50 cm around the pool is necessary for the tubes to rest on and to ensure the stability of the cover.
  • If the pool has skimmers, it is important to note that 20 cm of cover is lost on each side to compensate for the difference in level between the edge and the water.
  • To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from the ground level.
  • Use the Clean Cover drain pump with water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit water accumulation on the cover during heavy rains and keep the cover dry. It is also very important to prevent water from escaping from under the cover due to the principle of communicating vessels.
  • THE TUBES SHOULD BE FILLED TO 50%

    N.B. If you have a saltwater pool, please remember that electrolysis significantly reduces the life and resistance of the cover.

How to close the pool?

  1. Clean the pool bottom with the robot
  2. Backwash and check that the pump pre-filter is clean
  3. Check pH values (7.2 / 7.6)
  4. Perform super chlorination with Diklor Super
  5. Add Winter Algastop to prevent algae formation
  6. Leave the system on for at least 24 hours
  7. Cover the pool with the winter cover
  8. Use the cover drain pump to keep the cover dry and clean
  9. If temperatures are high, leave the system on during the hottest hours
  10. Leave the valves open and DO NOT lower the water level
