World exclusive: the brand new winter pool cover with anti-tip anti-wind tubes that rest on the ground, a Zavattishop patent. These latest generation inflatable tubes are the definitive solution for your swimming pool. Thanks to the stabilizing heat seals and ultrasonic fastening, very high standards of ground adherence are achieved.

Winter cover manufactured at the Poggio Rusco (Mn) factory by specialized technicians. The cover is created directly from the reinforced polyethylene roll, with any imperfections finished by hand.

 

Advantages of the pool cover with anti-wind tubes:

  • protects the water from debris and dirt, prevents leaves and organisms from altering the pool's pH conditions.
  • shields the water from solar rays, which are the main cause of chlorine evaporation and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms such as algae. Can be used as a summer insulating cover.
  • eliminates the use of chemicals thanks to protection from UV rays and organic substances. A shock treatment combined with winterizer is enough to face the cold season.

The pump to empty covers should be placed in the center of the winter cover and kept constantly powered. When a few centimeters of water are detected, the pump activates autonomously and expels it through a drain hose. This way, the cover will always remain dry and clean.


 
   
 
Instructions for professional installation of the winter cover:

  • A space of at least 50 cm around the pool is necessary for the tubes to rest on and to ensure the stability of the cover.
  • If the pool has skimmers, it is important to consider that 20 cm of cover are lost on each side to compensate for the difference in level between the edge and the water.
  • To ensure optimal stability of the cover, the ideal water level should not exceed -10cm from ground level.
  • Use the Clean Cover pump to empty covers with a water drainage kit (available in related products) to limit water accumulation on the cover during heavy rains and keep the cover dry. It is also very important to prevent water from escaping from under the cover due to the principle of communicating vessels.
  •  THE TUBES MUST BE FILLED TO 50%

    N.B. If you have a salt-treated pool, please note that electrolysis significantly reduces the durability and resistance of the cover.

How to close the pool?

  1. Clean the bottom of the pool with the robot
  2. Perform backwash and check that the pump pre-filter is clean
  3. Check pH values (7.2 / 7.6)
  4. Perform super chlorination with Diklor Super
  5. Add Winter Algastop to prevent algae formation
  6. Leave the system on for at least 24 hours
  7. Cover the pool with the winter cover
  8. Use the pump to empty covers to keep the cover dry and clean
  9. If temperatures are high, leave the system on during the warmest hours
  10. Leave the valves open and DO NOT lower the water level
