Floating lane line model MAXI-ANTI/O in special polypropylene treated anti-light and anti-corrosion.
AISI 316 stainless steel rope (4 mm diam.) included. Tensioners and accessories to be purchased separately.

MAXI ANTI/O lane lines intended for Olympic or top-level competitions consist of a sequence of wave-breaking elements with a diameter of 150 mm and sealed polyethylene floats with a diameter of 64 mm.

The particular shape of the discs, characterized by their large diameter, fins, and the presence of 300 small holes (5 mm diam.) in the wall, gives the line an exceptional wave-breaking effect.
In fact, the kinetic energy of the waves, caused by the swimmer in the race, is absorbed by the special fins which, due to the particular arrangement of the line, more than half submerged, achieve their maximum effect.
The perforations in the finned wall, in addition to lightening the disc, allow the absorption of any remaining energy.

Particular care in the design of this line for Olympic competitions has been dedicated to the sizing of the sealed floats, which are shaped so that they cannot be crushed or stressed by the wave-breaking discs when the line is rolled onto the appropriate reels, nor can they be damaged by hitting the edge of the pool when the lines are removed from the tank.
