Chlorine 25 L (= liquid)
Liquid chlorine, certified chemical
Chlorine 25 L (=liquid) for use with automatic dosing system.
Chemical Liquid Chlorine
Chemical certificate.
This, in addition to pH value, is the most important treatment for a pool. A frequent and continuous chlorination is a fundamental condition for safe water disinfection. A correct pH value (7.2-7,4) and a correct chlorine value (06 to 1.0 ppm) will ensure pure water, healthy and crystal clear.
Chlorine, depending on pH and organic substances present in the water, will tend to form combined chlorine that is the real culprit of "chlorine smell", burning of the eyes and mucous membranes. This unpleasant problem occurs mainly when the dosage of chlorine is insufficient; in fact it could be solved with a shock dose of chlorine. A correct chlorination must be faced with specific and valid products. Liquid chlorine stabilized with algaecide, it sanitizes and prevents the growth of algae in swimming pool water. It doesn't free cyanuric acid.
LIQUID CHLORINE
SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE 14/15% HIGH STABILITY
Applications
Concentrated liquid chlorine used for disinfection of pool water. Product with high stability to photolysis and evaporation.
The chlorine, in addition to disinfection, also exerts an oxidizing function, thus eliminating the organic substances not filterable.
Use and dose
Liquid Klor4 can be used manually or mechanically by means of a metering pump connected to a small tank of product storage.
DOSAGE: Keep the title of free chlorine between 0.8 and 1 ppm (5.4 to 6.7 g / m).
For shock treatments (break point), from 5 to 10 ppm of free chlorine as a function of the concentration of combined chlorine (34 to 68 gr / mc).
CONSUMPTION: The consumption of free chlorine can vary from 1 to 3 ppm / day (from 6.7 to 20.1 g / mc per day) as a function of temperature, the nature of makeup and frequency system.
Composition:
Sodium hypochlorite conc. 14-15%.
This product is registered at the Italian Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità, ISS) with code AUT-18-4.
Chemical Liquid Chlorine 25 L
14/15% SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE WITH HIGH STABILITY
Certified chemical product.
Liquid Klor can be used for both pool opening and closing treatments and during the season.
Liquid chlorine should be used in pools with automatic dosing units: control units that analyze the water and automatically dose the chlorine needed to maintain optimum values.
The use of Liquid Klor is also essential for shock treatments in pools with cartridge systems. In fact, in these cases, granular chemicals, which are incompatible with cartridges, should never be introduced.
Lastly, liquid chlorine disinfection should be done when the pool water is becoming saturated and therefore the Ph tends to be low. To slow down the natural process of water saturation, it is also recommended to treat the water with Liquid Klor for one week after every 3 to 4 weeks of normal maintenance with Tablok Super multifunction tablets.
Liquid Klor is sodium hypochlorite that does not contain isocyanurates, the chlorine stabilizers. For this reason, it succeeds in maintaining its effects even in saturated water.
Also for this reason, its use is recommended by alternating it with treatment by multifunction tablets, keeping the water healthier, longer.
When using liquid chlorine, it is inaccurate to talk about normal treatment and shock treatment, as this product naturally has a shock effect: It creates an instant disinfection peak followed by a rapid drop in the value measured by the test kit. This happens both due to high temperatures and as a result of filtration.
For this reason, the recommended treatment is 5 liters per 100 m3 water, which will bring the chlorine value between 1 and 1.5 ((if using a standard drop test kit).
Liquid Klor is a pre-diluted product that can be poured directly into the pool or into the automatic dispenser. Alternatively, like all chemicals, it can be poured into the channel of overflow pools or into skimmers.

Being already diluted, liquid chlorine has a lower concentration than granular chlorine. A product with high stability to photolysis and evaporation, in addition to disinfection it also performs an oxidizing function, thus removing non-filterable organic substances.
Besides pH stabilization, chlorination treatment is the most important treatment for a swimming pool. Proper, frequent, and consistent chlorination is essential for safe water disinfection. A correct pH value (7.2-7.6) and an adequate level of free chlorine (0.6-1.0 ppm) will ensure pure, healthy and crystal-clear water.
Liquid Klor can be used for both opening and closing pool treatments, as well as throughout the season.
Dosage: maintain the free chlorine level between 0.8 and 1 ppm (5.4 to 6.7 g/m3 of Liquid Klor).
For shock treatments (break point), 5 to 10 ppm of free chlorine, depending on the combined chlorine concentration (34 to 68 gr/m3 of Liquid Klor).
Consumption: Free chlorine consumption can range from 1 to 3 ppm per day (6.7 to 20.1 gr/m3 per day of Clorex 14) depending on temperature, nature of the replenishing water and the pool's usage.
Composition: Sodium hypochlorite concentration 14-15%.
In accordance with the regulations regarding the classification, packaging, and labeling of chemical mixtures and detergents, Liquid Klor is registered with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) under code AUT-18-4.
